Chris Cook joined FLG in 2018 with over 25 years of finance and executive
management experience focused on public companies, growth-stage enterprises, and
nonprofits. She has been recognized as a respected leader, team builder, and mentor,
and a sought-after advisor to boards and management teams. Chris has extensive
expertise in equity and debt fundraising, IPO readiness, public company reporting,
M&A, SOX 404 implementation, litigation support, and corporate governance. Over the
course of her career, she has supported companies acquiring more than $400 billion in
assets through complex transactions.

At FLG, Chris has advised clients across a broad range of industries including
technology, AI and data platforms, fintech, renewable energy, consumer products,
manufacturing, and not-for-profits. She brings particular depth in guiding technology
companies through growth, fundraising, and public company transitions, and in building
finance infrastructures that scale with rapid expansion. Chris also has experience in
consumer products, having audited major global brands such as Japan Foods and
Sanrio earlier in her career, and more recently advising high-growth consumer and retail
companies.

Chris is known for partnering with CEOs and boards to drive strategic growth, improve
operational performance, and create sustainable value. Her diverse skill set includes
capital raising, process improvement, systems implementation, investor relations,
financial modeling, and streamlining of operations.

Prior to joining FLG, Chris was CFO at Bank of Marin (NASDAQ: BMRC), First
California Mortgage, and Redwood Credit Union. Earlier in her career at Bank of
America, Chris held a senior leadership role managing the SEC and regulatory reporting
department, where she developed deep expertise in public company compliance,
complex financial reporting, and operating in a highly regulated industry. She began her
career at Coopers & Lybrand in San Francisco. In 2018, she co-founded StandardC, a
fintech payments and compliance platform facilitating banking for high-risk businesses.

Chris holds a BA in Accounting from DePaul University and is a licensed CPA in
California. She has been honored with the CFO Recognition Award and the Women in
Business Award from the North Bay Business Journal, as well as the Most Influential
Women in Bay Area Business Award from the San Francisco Business Journal. She is
passionate about mentoring entrepreneurs and has served as an executive expert
advising Stanford University undergraduates since 2018.
