Jeff Barker

Jeff Barker joined FLG Partners in 2025, bringing over 25 years of private equity experience and commercial financial leadership, including more than 10 years as CFO, primarily across consumer goods.

Jeff has led finance and operations at scale—from $1.5B public-company divisions to $200–$550M growth companies—and has a deep track record in business transformations, M&A/carve-outs, ERP implementations, and building high-performing global teams.

Most recently, Jeff served as the CFO of Ruggable (2024–2025). Under shared VC and PE ownership, he led the professionalization of the finance function, implemented NetSuite, and established robust inventory management through Open-to-Buy, thereby strengthening gross margin and driving significant debt reduction. He also elevated team engagement, achieving the highest eNPS across all functions.

At Parachute Home (2022–2024), Jeff drove the premium luxury DTC brand to cash flow positive profitability after several years of EBITDA losses, while scaling the company’s omnichannel model to support continued growth.

As CFO and COO of JLab (2020–2021), Jeff led the company’s sale to a public acquirer at a premium EBITDA multiple. He also transitioned reporting from GAAP to IFRS and implemented public-company financial controls to ensure a smooth post-acquisition integration.

Earlier, Jeff served as CFO and Transformation Lead at TaylorMade Golf (2015–2019), where he led the sale and carve-out from adidas to KPS Capital. Over a two-year period, he executed a turnaround that improved profitability by $200 million alongside 25% revenue growth. He supported the sale of TaylorMade from public and private equity, established new international entities, and a joint venture manufacturing facility to support global operations.

Prior to these roles, Jeff held senior leadership positions with adidas Brazil and TaylorMade EMEA & Pacific, where he oversaw finance, operations, supply chain, and IT functions spanning North America, Europe, South America, and Asia.

Jeff holds a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Business, and brings board-level experience and private equity familiarity that align well with the needs of FLG’s clients across growth, transformation, and strategic transitions.
