Heather Ogan

Heather Ogan joined FLG as Administrative Partner, succeeding co-founder Jeff Kuhn, in January 2022.

Heather is a senior finance and accounting executive with over 20 years of experience leading high performing teams in both public and private companies.  Prior to joining FLG, Heather consulted with several companies experiencing rapid growth across multiple industries including CPG, OTA, technology and logistics. As Consulting Controller at StubHub, NEXT Trucking, ZUM Services, and Cutera (Nasdaq: CUTR), Heather managed operational improvements including simplification and standardization of systems and processes, as well as implementing new strategies as her clients scaled for growth.

Prior to her consulting roles, Heather was VP and Controller at Hotel Tonight, where she managed Accounting, Treasury, Risk, Tax, Payroll, and Trust & Safety functions and improved internal controls, and increased accountability, accuracy, and the efficiency of the monthly close process. She also led risk management initiatives driving improved insurance coverages and cost savings, and managed the company’s external audits and the due diligence process resulting in the successful acquisition of Hotel Tonight by Airbnb in April 2019.

Prior to her tenure at Hotel Tonight/Airbnb, Heather was Vice President of Finance and Administration and Chief Compliance Officer at Circa America, LLC, an omni-channel apparel company where she led Accounting, Payroll, HR, Compliance, Treasury, and Cash Management functions. Previously, she was Senior Director and Assistant Controller at Rodan & Fields during a 3-year period when the company scaled revenue from $300M to $1.2B, overseeing accounting operations including the implementation and integration of new financial systems and an indirect procurement function.

Between 2007-2014, Heather led the finance and accounting function at Sendmail (e-mail software) and NaturEner (clean energy – wind farms) and prior to that, spent seven years in public accounting.

Heather has a BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland, an MBA from the University of Maryland, and is a licensed CPA.
