
Stephanie Roberts
Since joining FLG in 2017, Stephanie Roberts has enjoyed working as a CFO and advisor with several high growth DTC Brands including Rothy’s, Third Love, goop, Moda Operandi, and Sagely Naturals. She has over 20 years of senior management experience as both a CFO and COO of various public and private consumer companies, including consumer products, retail, e-commerce, and pharmaceuticals.
Stephanie adds value to companies by leveraging her global experience and expertise in corporate and financial strategy, investor relations, scalability, pricing, inventory management, product line rationalization, e-commerce, supply chain, and operations.
During her career as a C-level executive, Stephanie has successfully managed a variety of functions including finance, strategy, real estate, human resources, store design and construction, information technology, facilities, and marketing effectiveness.
Formerly, Stephanie was the CFO at Specialized Bicycle Components, the global leader in performance bicycles, equipment, and apparel, where she created and led the company through long term strategies to improve inventory management, financial operations, optimization of its effective tax rate, complete the implementation of Oracle in South America, Asia, and Europe, as well as implement Workday in North and South America. Additionally, she co-led the redesign and implementation of a mobile first e-commerce platform. The overall impact of these strategies significantly increased the company’s cash position by 500% and set up the company to scale for the future.
Previously, Stephanie was the CFO at Old Navy, at $5.5B the largest division within Gap Inc. During her first 2 years as CFO she played a key role on the executive team in turning around the business and increasing profits by 40%. She also led the leadership team through a process to improve overall brand positioning. In addition to a strong focus on the management of inventory, supply chain, and retail/pricing and gross margin, she managed Old Navy’s Canada division with revenues of $600M. She is most proud of the optimization of Old Navy’s fleet of stores, which went through a transformative and aggressive remodel program significantly improving overall performance.
Stephanie began her career at Syntex Pharmaceuticals in Palo Alto, and held a variety of positions in treasury, finance, and financial operations.
Stephanie earned her B.S. in Business from Golden Gate University, San Francisco. Stephanie currently volunteers as a coach for the Half Moon Bay track and cross country teams.
