PALO ALTO, CA–(Marketwire – March 23, 2009) – FLG Partners, LLC announced today the addition of another partner, Bern Whitney, to the consulting firm, bringing the total number of professionals to 19.
FLG’s newest partner, Bernard J. Whitney, is a seasoned CFO with significant management and operating experience with both public and private companies.

Mr. Whitney has 28 years of financial experience including extensive merger and acquisition, restructuring and divestiture activity for high tech companies. Presently, Mr. Whitney serves as Audit Chair for Digimarc Corporation as well serving as director and advisor for a number of private and non-profit entities. Formerly, Mr. Whitney was the CFO of Handspring, Inc. through its IPO, the CFO of Sanmina Corp., and has held finance positions at Network General, Conner Peripherals, Alcatel-Friden, and Randtron Systems. Mr. Whitney holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the California State University, Chico, and an M.B.A. from California State University, San Jose.
