PALO ALTO, CA–(Marketwire – June 1, 2009) – FLG Partners, LLC announced today the addition of a new partner, Chris Dier, to the consulting firm, bringing the total number of partners to 20.

FLG’s newest partner, Dier, is a veteran CFO with significant management and operating experience in both public and private companies.

Mr. Dier has 25 years of financial experience. Presently, Mr. Dier serves as Chief Financial Officer for Solaria Corp., a next-generation solar technology leader in Fremont, CA. Formerly, Mr. Dier was the CFO of OuterBay Technologies, where he was instrumental in its acquisition by Hewlett-Packard; the CFO of iBeam Broadcasting Corp.; the CFO of Aurum Software, Inc.; and the CFO of Veritas Software Corp., where he led that company’s IPO.

Mr. Dier holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities and an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University.
