Patty joined FLG in 2016 and brings over 30 years of senior financial management experience to the firm as a CFO and Senior Vice President of various private and global public companies including organizations in the financial services, payments, e-commerce, software, beauty, and educational sectors. She has also served on the Board of Directors of a private insurance company and participated as a member of their Audit Committee.
Patty adds value to companies by leveraging her experience and expertise in financial operations, M&A integrations, restructurings, process improvement, financial system implementations, revenue operations, source-to-settle and facilities. Patty has managed organizations in rapid growth environments of various sizes with staff of less than 10 people at private companies to staff of more than 300 people at a large public company. She has served as a key member of Senior Management teams working with Boards of Directors.
Prior to FLG, Patty spent 11 years as a Senior Vice President of Visa Inc. managing the global Finance Operations and Corporate Services functions. During her time at Visa, she was a key member of the 2008 IPO team raising just under $18B. She led a global team of 300+ FTE and restructured and integrated the finance and corporate services functions post IPO while migrating numerous financial system applications onto one platform.
Prior to joining Visa Inc., Patty was the CFO at Dominican University, a private university, where she managed the business office, IT and campus facilities functions. She also provided leadership as the CFO of the San Francisco Bar Association and VP of Finance and Administration at Diadexus, a medical diagnostics company. Patty also served as the VP for HealthCentral.com which successfully raised $82.5M in an IPO in addition to $20M in a Series B preferred stock private placement.
Previously, Patty spent 17 years at Bank of America NT&SA where she was a VP of Finance for its middleware subsidiary Concorde Solutions. She also oversaw the disposition, merger and sale of more than 50 BAC subsidiaries acquired in the Security Pacific and Continental Bank mergers. In addition, Patty held numerous financial planning and analysis roles in the credit, check & currency services, software engineering and commercial banking divisions.
Patty began her career at Wells Fargo Bank and Natomas Oil & Gas as a financial analyst.
Patty holds a BS degree in Finance from San Francisco State University and served on the Board of Directors for Delta Dental Association (2009-2011) and the San Francisco American Heart Association (2008-2011).
